timey_wimey: (This is my "avoiding things" face)
So. Interesting Christmas this time round, although to be fair, when isn't it, really. I spent my day in 1851 battling a giant Cyberman in Victorian London, and after all of that I got invited to Christmas dinner with a man who thought he was a future version of me but wasn't. He was brilliant, though. Wouldn't have minded if he had turned out to be me, in the end. For one thing, he managed to change my mind, and there's not many people who can do that.

How's everyone else's day been?
timey_wimey: (nostalgia)
[The flash of the future for the Doctor comes in a different way than for most. For a start, rather than a single scene, it appears to be a few extremely quick flashes, not all of them accompanied by images but sometimes just voices.

A woman's voice, worried but final-sounding:]
You be careful now. Because your song is ending, sir.

[And this changes quickly to an image of the Doctor himself, in an orange spacesuit, looking furious:] They said I was gonna die. They said "he will knock four times" and I think I know what that means, and it doesn't mean right here right now, 'cause I don't hear anyone knocking, do you?!

[And again, the scene shifts, but this time there's no sound. To anyone who knows the Doctor or the TARDIS, they might recognise the surroundings as the TARDIS wardrobe room. An unknown man stands in front of the mirror in there, straightening a bow tie rather nervously before the image simply melts away.]

[END VIDEO +++ BEGIN VOICE POST FUNCTION]

[the Doctor is quiet for a long while before he mutters one word.] ... Spoilers.
timey_wimey: (are you serious?)
Feldt, if you're reading this, can you reply? And for the record, I'd prefer if you did so sooner rather than later. I want to know where you are and if you're safe, alright?

And if I really am as brilliant as I like to say I am (and let's face it; we know that I am) and my hunch is right - if Tieria's with you, and you two are where I think you are, can you tell him from me that he's absolutely barmy and that the two of you have got to be careful, alright? The two of you haven't half caused a commotion! I think that Nena might have actually damaged my eardrums with all that shrieking.
timey_wimey: (Yeeah that's just not right)
So. It would seem we've got some sort of virus going around again. A mind-reading virus? Thought projection virus? Whatever it is, it's giving me a dreadful headache. It's just a tad annoying, wouldn't you say? I mean, I don't know about you, but quite frankly the idea of someone being able to read my mind is more than a little uncomfortable.

Typical, the one virus which is actually a bother and a nuisance for me to get hit by - not that any of the others weren't but this one is really taking the mickey - and I get hit by it. Not to mention that now I can hear all those other minds chatting away up here. How many must that be, a hundred? Two hundred? Feels like it at least. It's bad enough when they're on the edge of everything, now they're just there! In the thick of it!

... Aaaand this is not a good show of keeping my mind blank. Come on, Doctor, think. Or rather don't, actually. Blank thoughts. Blank blank blank.

So, what I mean to say is, if anyone needs me, I'll be in the TARDIS, trying to keep the old mind blank. So any world-threatening emergencies will just have to wait! Or not, as it happens. We'll see about that. - no, blank thoughts.

...

...

... now I just sound like Setsuna.
timey_wimey: (tea is forever)
Hmm. You know, I was about to make an entry about how I've been very very good by most people's standards lately and managed not to get myself into too much trouble. Honestly, I'm getting far too domestic. If I keep this up, I'll be making it a habit, and then where will I be?

Anyway! All that aside, I was about to make an entry like that, but it just occurred to me... if I remember rightly, it's Haruhi's birthday coming up soon.

So, the million-dollar question is, anyone want to help me plan a party? Donna, you're good at this sort of thing, you can help me out. Right?
timey_wimey: ("Oh. Is that it?")
Blimey. Is it really Valentine's Day again so soon?
timey_wimey: (Don't say you don't deserve it)
Someone stop me before I do something I'll end up regretting.
timey_wimey: (THINK THINK THINK)
Erm. Well.

... There's really no right way to say this in an entry. Um.

Right.

I think I've got something that you lot... really should know.
timey_wimey: ([TARDIS holo] why hello there.)
[It looks as if the video is looking out from somewhere inside the TARDIS's console. The view is of the console room, strewn all over with wrapping paper and bows, with a couple of boxes to add to the Christmassy mess. Facing the camera is what appears to be a young, other-worldly looking red-haired woman, but on closer inspection it appears to be a hologram. She smiles and waves slightly at the camera, and when she speaks her voice sounds echoey, as if it's coming from somewhere else.]

Hello. I don't suppose that any of you have seen me before. [She laughs slightly] Or at least, not like this.

[Suddenly, Donna's voice sounds from deep inside the TARDIS - something along the lines of "Be careful you two, you're going to break your necks, and I'm not getting Jenny to help me drag you to Dr. Cuddy's!" - and she looks to the side as two figures in identical coats come into the shot, engaged in what looks like a furious battle of sonic-ness - Ten and Haruhi. Ten is grinning like a madman, looking like he's having the time of his life.]

Come on, Haruhi, you're not even trying!

[Haruhi pouts and folds her arms.] I am so! You're just cheating!

[The red-haired hologram coughs politely, and the two look round, looking suddenly guilty. Haruhi looks curiously at the hologram.] What are you doing, TARDIS?

She's showing off her new holo-form is what she's doing. [That was Ten, predictably, although he doesn't seem to mind~] I can't believe you made yourself ginger. I've always wanted to be ginger.

[The TARDIS-holo smiles indulgently at his indignant face.] It's just my little joke, Doctor. Are you going to join me in wishing the community a merry Christmas?

[Ten's face looks like a light-bulb just went on.] Oh yeah, Christmas! Hi, everyone. Um. Merry Christmas. [He nudges Haruhi] Haruhi, say Merry Christmas to everyone, go on. Since we're on camera.

[Haruhi looks at him as if he's tarded.] Go away, dork, I only want to say it to the people I like.

Well, say it to the people you like, then!

... Merry Christmas.

[The TARDIS, who's been watching this exchange with a fond smile on her hologram fais, shakes her head and speaks again] Have a very Merry Christmas, everyone.

[With that, the picture cuts out.]
timey_wimey: (I'mma lie here and recover from)
Phew! Well, am I glad that's all out the way. D'you know, I'm exhausted. Everything from the past couple of months is catching up with me - now I know I'm getting old.

Still, guess I've got time now, touch wood, for a nice quiet Chris --

.... Christmas.

I haven't done my Christmas shopping yet.

Bugger.
timey_wimey: (lonely angel)
... Well.

I really was afraid something like this would happen. It's almost a pity I can't even say "I told you so", really.
timey_wimey: (looking over my hands)
... Haruhi's sick. Well, she gets sick a lot, but this time she's really sick. She won't stop coughing and the other night she got a fever that won't go down. I shouldn't have let her run out into all that rain...

It's no use, I'm gonna have to take her to a hospital. I just hope they don't ask too many questions, there's only so much I'll be able to explain away with the psychic paper, and if they ask for an address, well... let's not go there.

[Locked to Jenny]

Jenny? I think there's something I need to tell you.
timey_wimey: (this is all so difficult)

You knlow, never thogguht Idl say this, but riuight now, I reallky need a derink.

… Especially whjen I’\m typing this basdlky.

((OOC: Annd have a Ten who’s still shaky from Midnight, guys! Ru, Jenny, and Random, I don't know if you guys wanted to do an RL or an aftermath RL or whatever for this ep, but I thought that it was about time we did this move because finale event is coming up pretty damn fast. 8D;))
timey_wimey: (a little wistful)
Blimey, it’s been a while since I posted on here, hasn’t it? Having a full-time companion - make that two full time companions - again hasn’t really been all that conducive to spending time on here. Surprised I’ve been around as often as I have, really.

Not much to report, to be honest. Well, not too much. Well, when I say not too much I mean by my standards. I ran into the Ood again. Actually managed to save them this time round, thanks to Ood Sigma. Oh, that’s right! We saved the world – twice, actually, or at least that much… some of you might have heard about the second time actually, with the Atmos cars and the whole world choking to death. It’s been a while since I saw the Sontarans actually, and to be honest, they’re as warlike and ridiculous as ever. In fact, they're even shorter than I remember. Oh! And I met Martha again. Not sure if any of you remember me mentioning Miss Martha Jones, but she’s doing well for herself. Defending the Earth, brilliant as ever.

Not that I really appreciated being in a female body for that. Honestly, I never realised just how - how really sexist those UNIT chaps could be! I mean, was it really that difficult to tell that I was the Doctor? It was bad enough having Martha question who I was when she phoned me - in the middle of being dragged bra shopping, I might add - but that really just topped it all off. I don't think I've ever been so glad to get back into my own body.

Oh, and while I'm here, I might as well mention that we managed to stop a war that had only been going on for seven days but lasted generations… really, don’t ask, it’s a long story. Mind you, if I see one more gun, I think I might actually… oh, you know what, nevermind.

I don’t much fancy going into the details anyway.

[Private; Hackable with skill]

She… I don’t suppose I can really still believe it. Jenny… she was my daughter, and we hardly got started…

In fact, it was almost the same as when… well, there’s not much point in thinking about that, I suppose. Not anymore.

I told Martha that there’s always something to live for… well, I was right. I’ve still got everyone here, after all. Haruhi - always Haruhi, it's not as if I could let her take second place, not now. Not to mention all the rest.

… Yeah.
timey_wimey: (worried)
She's not getting any better. This is bad, right?

How are things on your end?
timey_wimey: (*checks flist for drama*)
[The sounds of the TARDIS moving can be heard as the mike comes on, but it sounds different - forced, and there's the sounds of a lot of sparks coming off the console]

Donna! I think I might have found something! Well, you know, I've been searching for ages, combing through the universes - hmm. Actually, you know what, I hope that I get back to the right time and place, if I've been searching for ages. I mean, it's been ages for me, but it should only have been about a day for you. Hope that this post goes to the right time, because you know, if you didn't hear this it would be a bit rubbish, wouldn't it?

Anyway! Back on topic - oo, hang on a sec - [sounds of mallet A being applied to console B] - yeah, as I was saying, I got nothing for ages, absolutely nothing. And I was about to give up when I thought "Why not try the photograph?" So I hooked the photo that Haruhi gave me up to the TARDIS and I got this trace! Brilliant, isn't it?!

[Sounds of a dial turning] I'm trying to lock onto it and follow it now. It's very faint, and it's far too close to the Void for my liking - that's a big empty place full of nothing, by the way, some folk call it Hell - but it's worth a look, don't you think? Course it is!

Right, I'm on my way to pick you up so we can have a look together. We can leave Haruhi where she is, she'll be fine, and I don't want to get her hopes up too much - whoa! Careful there, old girl!

[Click!]

((OOC: Hi Random~! When Donna replies to this, we can turn it into a mini-RL that leads onto the beginning of Pompeii, if you want. ^__^ For stalkers: Ten HASN'T found Roxas, he just thinks he has. D:))

Blimey...

timey_wimey: (i'm clueless)
You’ll never guess who I ran into saving the world yesterday. Only one Donna Noble. Blimey, she’s changed from when I last saw her. Not in that same old wedding dress, for a start. Mind you, some things haven’t changed – she still managed to miss the replica Titanic flying over London last Christmas, although I’m not sure whether I should really be surprised at this point. No offence, Donna, if you're reading this.

Anyway, I’ve somehow ended up with Donna on the TARDIS, and all her baggage. Like that hat box. I mean, who even has a hat box these days? Anyone? Point is, I might not be around as often. Showing Donna the big wide universe and everything. Although, judging from the way she nicked off with my spare laptop earlier, it seems she might have already found this place, so a lot of you have probably already met her...

Oh, one word of advice for you all: if any of you were planning to start a diet plan sometime in the near future and it involves taking pills, just… oh, you know what, you probably won’t listen anyway so this won’t make much of a difference, but don’t. Just don’t. You’ll thank me for it later, trust me.
timey_wimey: (Ten lols at you)
So. About this adventure of ours, Haruhi... when and where do you want to go?
timey_wimey: (Ten lols at you)
I'm on this. Well, this planet that's devoted entirely to a little bazaar, as a matter of fact. Like you'd get in Aladdin, I suppose. Or something like that. Do all of you even know that story...? Nevermind. Well, I say little, but since it covers the entire planet it's not, really.

Anyway, moving on! It's got loads of little nifty things, so I'm here trying to find something for one Miles Edgeworth. But I thought, seeing as how I haven't really talked to any of you in a while, that some of you might want me to pick something up for you as well. I can drop it off on your world on my way to Edgeworth's party this weekend.

When I say that they probably have everything, I mean everything.

((OOC: If you're not sure if you're included in the lock, close friends means Chloe, Jordan, Eva, Haruhi, Tieria, Phoenix, Jacky, Sam, Hermione, Maya, Collins, Saki, Mikaela, Mewtwo, River and Simon. If you think I've missed your character out, please say! |D

Oh, and Master can hack if he wants. ;) ♥))
timey_wimey: (looking over my hands)
