[Silence on this end as he just comes over and hugs her close to him]

[her breath hitches slightly]

Papa, my head really hurts.

[Pulls back and looks at her with concern]

What? How hard did you hit it?

[winces at the light the comes into her eyes when he moves and covers her eyes]

I dunno, I can't remember.

... Right. Right.

[Takes a deep breath and looks at her head] ... Looks like it could be a concussion.

[whimpers slightly when he touches the sore spot on her head]

...I've been throwing up.

... That's not good.

[Lifts her up, a little shakily.] Right. We're gonna need to get some ice on that head of yours. And probably some pain killers or something.

[mumurs a soft 'kay' and wraps her arms around his neck, tighter than she usually would]

[That's fine, because he's holding her pretty tightly as well. Carries her through to a nearby sick bay - the TARDIS has several - being careful not to jolt her head. He dims the lights before setting her down on the bed and heading for a nearby freezer. Yes, a freezer. The TARDIS is just cool like that.]

Right, I know it's here somewhere...

[lies down and curls up into a little ball on the bed, feeling quite horrible at the moment. But she never takes her eyes off Ten, like she's afraid he'll disappear]

[Is rather oblivious to this in his search for the ice, which he finds and wraps in a cloth before coming back over and sitting on the bed.]

Alright, let's get you sat up and get this ice on that head of yours.

[grips his shirt as she pulls herself up, swaying a bit from the dizziness and wincing]

[Puts an arm around her to steady her]

[the question takes a while to process before she raises her hand to point to the right side of her head]

[whimpers when the ice touches her head and clings to him]

[Gives her a lopsided smile]
