[RL, the TARDIS]

Ten sat at the TARDIS console frowning at the screen. This community was starting to be more trouble than it was worth. The Master and now the Daleks? The only way this could get worse was if someone pulled a Donna and got into the TARDIS.

He ran a hand over his face. Luckily Martha was busy somewhere.

"Well, this is just brilliant, isn't it?"

It was hardly difficult for Schrödinger to get inside in the TARDIS, because in a manner of speaking, he was already there. He peered over the Doctor's shoulder at the screen.

"Vhat's brilliant?" he asked, as conversationally as ever.

Schrödinger stepped back and smiled, keeping out of the Doctor's reach.

"Vhat? Leave and go talk to the Daleks?" he sing-songed.

"Schrödinger," he said, flicking his cat-like ears. "And I vas already here. And alvays vill be. I'm everyvhere und novhere, Herr Doktor."

The catboy moved past him and perched himself on the edge of the control panel. "Come on, Doktor, a genius like you? Thiiiiink about it. Or vould it make more sense if this box vas cardboard?" he mocked, gesturing up and around at the TARDIS.

Schrödinger clapped his gloved hands together gleefully.

"Yes, Doctor! Very good! I vas created based on the priniciples of that very theory," he said, grinning. "Of course, the exact specifics are a little lost on me, but I am faaaaairly sure I am unique. My creator never took the time to explain it to me. I suppose I really should ask him someday..." he trailed off.

"Yes, I vas created," Schrödinger said, cocking his head to the side. "Is that a problem?"

"Vhat am I going to do in the crisis?" Schrödinger asked. "Vell, if you mean the Daleks, then I guess I'll be going along to meet them in say, ooh, twenty minutes?" Unless someone can come up with a reason vhy not."

Smiling, Schrödinger ignored the implied threat, and appeared to inspect his white gloves for dirty marks.

Still seemingly examining his hands, he offhandedly replied to the question posed to him.

"Who created me? Vhy, The Doktor created me, mein Herr," he said, with a little smile.

"Oh yes," Schrödinger said, fishing around in his pocket, eventually producing a battered black and white photograph of Millennium. He held it out, gloved finger tapping at the figure of the Doctor. The man in the picture was dressed in a bizarre white outfit, with a lab coat over the top. His entire outfit was spattered with blood, and his eyes were hidden behind strange multi-lensed glasses.

"This is my Doctor. My creator."

[identity profile] katzchenjunge.livejournal.com 2007-07-03 12:21 pm (UTC)(link)
"Odd, Doctor?" he said, smiling. "That's frankly an understatement, nein?" He laughed and put the photo back in his pocket.

"But you must admit," Schrödinger laughed, "it's very curious. That someone like him could create something like me."

[identity profile] katzchenjunge.livejournal.com 2007-07-03 01:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Schrödinger laughed. "Everything, Herr Doctor! I can be anyvhere, do anything! I can stand at the beginning and end of the universe, at the same time! I'm doing it right now. I'm everyvhere, everyvhen. I know...so, so much, Doctor. Vhy," he grinned, lowering his voice to just above a whisper, "I'm even on Gallifrey."

"It is possible! More than possible, it is an actuality!" Schrödinger crowed, stepping away from the Doctor.

"You should see it, mein Herr," he said, leaning closer, "the sun's just rising in the south. It looks like the trees are burning."

[identity profile] katzchenjunge.livejournal.com 2007-07-03 10:48 pm (UTC)(link)
"I told you, Doctor," Schrödinger said, almost beginning to look bored, "I'm there, I've seen it-- am seeing it. You can't know vhat this is like, being able to see the entire construct of space and time at once."

He tapped his head. "Vhy, it's amazing I'm still sane!"

[identity profile] katzchenjunge.livejournal.com 2007-07-14 12:56 am (UTC)(link)
Schrödinger looked at him strangely.

"...of course I know I'm sane, Doctor. Vhat a silly question."
