You could try patching things up with him. When he wakes up, I mean.

Well. When he wakes up, you can ask him yourself. But if you ask me, Haruhi, he cares about you a lot.

But does he care about me for me or because I remind him of his little sister.

There was a secret about you last time round which I'm pretty sure was from him. No mentions of his little sister in there whatsoever.
