timey_wimey | [RL - Setsuna, Lockon (Alle?) - backdated to Physical Regression]

[The Doctor spent... quite a bit of time at a randomly picked convention on an also randomly picked world, looking for Setsuna's model. Well, strictly speaking picking the model out took him all of about 5 minutes, but he got distracted. First of all, there was the half hour or so spent studying the backs of the boxes trying to figure out how the real things would work. Then there was the hour or so he spent looking at all the other dorky merchandise - he was sure that he saw what must have been a cuddly adipose of all things, and then he got temporarily caught up deciding whether or not to go and see Brad something-or-other the voice actor speak in the corner.

(Deciding no probably held him up just as much as if he had said yes due to the sheer number of people who stopped him to compliment him on his "amazing Tenth Doctor cosplay" and take pictures. He had to hide several smirks from people, especially the ones who said "Wow, you really look like him!").

Eventually, however ~~once the mun stops writing in-jokes into her RL~~, he managed to drag himself away from the convention and into the TARDIS, setting a course for the island that the now-children were on, and making sure to avoid the area that had the giant robots hidden in it - sure, he might have it all figured out (mostly) and might also be itching to examine them up close, but he didn't want to give the poor boys heart attacks after all.

So he parked on a suitable stretch of beach and walked out of the TARDIS with a brown box under his arm, whistling tunelessly.]

[It takes him a while to figure out what the other two are up to, but when he clicks, he smiles and races towards Doctor Flag, ready to tackle him to the ground as well.]

Whoa!

[It works! The Doctor is brought unceremoniously to the ground, still managing to make sure that he lands in a way that won't squash the kids. They're probably on top of him, if anywhere.]

[The sticks were dropped at some point and Setsuna giggles as he clings to Ten's coat, having held on to him when he started to fall so as not to get hurt]

T-told you Gundams'd win!

[Managed to keep hold his his stick, but somewhere in the run it turned from a rifle-stick to a GN-saber-stick. He scrambles off him as fast as he can, laughing excitedly, and as soon as he's stood up he points the sticksaber at the prone Doctor Flag.]

Yeah, Flag! D'you give in?

[Sprawled over Ten's stomach right now, laughing slightly.]

[Puts his hands up, laughing slightly himself.]

Alright, alright, you win. I surrender! Take me to your leader!

[sits up and slides off of Ten, sitting on the ground to get his breath back, still looking pleased about the victory]

[grins and stabs his stick in the air in triumph.]

Yeah! Another win for the undefeatable Gundam Meisters!

[giggling still, he reaches out to help Allelujah off the Doctor.]

[Takes Lockon's hand and pulls himself up.]

So what happens now?

[Still lyyying on the floor, guys. It's kinda comfy.]

Actually, that's a good point. [He raises his head to look at the three of them.] What does happen now?

[just shrugs at him in response]

[looks thoughtful]

Well, um... [grins, remembering the whole point of this visit] Now you have to give us something, because we won!

[Nods, happy with this idea!] Like a prize, right?

Oh, yes, a prize! Can't have winning without a prize, after all.

[He grins and sits up, making a big show of patting down his pockets before he reaches into one of them and pulls out the brown package with the model inside, holding it out.] Voila! Will this do?

[perks up and looks excited - he's pretty sure he knows what that is]

[mock-thoughtful] We~ell, I suppose so.

[...but he can't pretend to not be curious and excited himself for long. He can hazard a pretty good guess as to what's in the package, after all.]

Okay, give it to Setsuna. He should be the one who opens it.

[Looks curiously at the package and smiles a little at Setsuna.] Go on, open it!

[Hands the box with a teensy weensy flourish to Setsuna.]

Don't go breaking it, mind.

[pulls the lid off the box, then makes a small squeal of excitement]

It's Exia!

[bouncing on the spot with glee, looks over Setsuna's shoulder-]

Huh? It's all in...bits...

[Peeeeers at the inside of the box and prods at a bit of paper]

Maybe those are instructions...

[Nods]

Yeah, you kind of. Have to put it together first. But still, that's all part of the fun, don't you think?

[picks up the different parts and inspects them]

How's it work?

[squinting at the instructions, then reaches over and picks them up]

I think...you're supposed to snap the bits together, right so. Starting with this one, um, 1A, look...

[pointing at the sheet...then looks back at the part-sheets Setsuna's holding, biting his lip.]

...how do we tell which one's which?
