[RL w/Haruhi - Will we ever make up and be friends?]

[Ten is, to put it lightly, completely and utterly fed up at the moment - with the universe at large, yes, but mostly with himself for being a prize idiot. He's called Itsuki's phone ahead of time to speak to her and tell her that he's coming along, but their conversation didn't last long and it was more than a little strained. Which he guesses he can't blame her for.

At all, in fact.

Suffice it to say that his nerves are now a lot more frazzled than they've been in a while. Monsters? No problem. Overthrowing dictatorships, stopping wars, saving as many lives as he can? He's your man. But domesticity - he hasn't been able to manage domesticity properly since he regenerated into his ninth incarnation. He tries, but it's difficult, and this little incident has just proved why.

Bugger this. He stands in a corridor in Itsuki's house and rubs his hands over his face before he knocks on the door of the living room, where he's been told Haruhi is.]

[Luckily he was expecting that to happen sometime soon so he DOESN'T go staggering into the hot dog stall! He still gets a dirty look from the vendor as he hands them the hot dogs, though.]

"Sorry, sorry! Thanks."

[Hands Haruhi her hotdog, the vendor the money, and quickly scoots off with Ru still on his back~!]

"You're going to get me into trouble if you don't watch out."

[wraps her arms around his neck and takes the hotdog energetically]

I haven't eaten in a few days, I'm starving.

[scrunches her nose]

Why would you get in trouble? I'm adorable.

"You shouldn't do that, you know, you'll end up wasting away. Just cause I can last days without eating doesn't mean you can."

[And yes, this means he will be getting her a huge ice cream later on. He offers her his as-of-yet untouched hot dog] "You can have mine as well, if you're that hungry."

"And if you're so adorable, Miss Suzumiya, then I'll let you do the explaining when your jumping antics end up causing me to break something. Maybe they'll take pity on me after seeing your cute face!"

[turns her face away from it] I only need one, I can't eat that much.

"I'd hate to see what sort of terrible blackmail you could come up with, Haruhi."

I'm pretty damn good at it.

Well, once I made it look like the President of the Computer Club tried to badtouch Mikuru-chan and then took pictures of it and then told him I'd post the pics all over the school unless he gave me a computer for the SOS Brigade.
