[RL con el Master - Time Vortex poisoning! :(]
Well if this didn't beat just about every other situation he'd ever found himself in. Trapped, Vortex poisoned and stopping everyone from getting anywhere and not just him, and just to put the icing on the cake, the universe's biggest psychologist's field day out to get him.
Didn't look like he had much of a choice in the matter, really.

"Okay, fine, you win," he said, catching himself on a part of the coral-like TARDIS supports and making a mental note to get more barriers put in the room. Survive a 30 foot fall he may be able to, but it still hurt when you were peeling yourself off the ground.
"Should be something in here for you. Well, somewhere. Well, hopefully."
no subject
"Ahhh, I love to hear you say that..."
He swung around dreamily, oblivious to the Doctor's near-fall, and began to flip through the rack.
"Something comfortable, yeah?"
He was feeling rather chuffed with himself right now, for some reason. Probably thanks to replaying those words over and over inside his mind, savoring it, even if it was just a tiny outburst.
He came to a leather-vest-and-chaps cowboy ensemble, gave the Doctor a look, and kept going.
"Ooh look, thermals," he said as he pulled out a dark long-sleeved shirt.
no subject
"I have thermals?" he said vaguely, almost like filing away information for later use. "I forgot about those..."

He turned and looked at the Doctor, pouting slightly in thought.
"...Should I go in a corner to do this," he asked flatly.

When he heard the Master's question, however, he blinked, sure he had misunderstood. Then he began to look quite alarmed. "Errm. Yeah! About that. There's a sort of - changing room thing through that door there. First one up the ladder, you can't miss it." There was a slight note of alarm in his voice, because really? He didn't put it past the Master to start undressing there and then, just to spite him.

...Instead he huffed, shook his head, and walked off to the changing room.
"I won't wait up for you," he called over his shoulder.
no subject
"Well, it takes all sorts I guess," he muttered to himself before pulling a t-shirt, shirt and trousers from another rack and shuffling off to another section of the wardrobe, tugging off his jacket as he went.

He let himself fall backward, hanging on to the railing with his legs. He put his hands behind his head and hung there for a while, just thinking, waiting for the Doctor.
no subject
"Are you quite comfy up there, or what?"
no subject
He furrowed his brow. "I used to be taller than you," he said moodily. He hefted himself back up and walked down to meet him.
"Fits, I guess," he sighed as he tugged at his shirt. "Bit tight, bit long, but you're a string bean this time around so I'm not surprised."

He looked down at his hands, fiddling with the overly long sleeves.
"So now what, hm?"
no subject
"Errm. Actually..." he started, awkwardly. Then he stuck his hands into his pockets, staring at a point somewhere over the Master’s head – a sure sign that a long-winded explanation was coming. "Well, this is a rare thing, but for once I have no idea. Food…? No wait, we’ve already done that, haven’t we… games, Earth television… other television.” He sucked in a breath and looked at the Master with a lop-sided grin. “Well, like you said earlier, you’re the guest.”
((Sorry to post and run, my mum's after me again... -_-))

"Games? What sort of games?"
There was a childish lilt to his voice when he said that, which he caught. He sneered at the Doctor in distaste.
"Had better not involve running around the TARDIS again. That one's old and you're better at it since it's yours anyway."
