Phew! Well, am I glad that's all out the way. D'you know, I'm exhausted. Everything from the past couple of months is catching up with me - now I know I'm getting old.

Well yeah! If we're going to go shopping, we're going somewhere that has a decent enough selection. I mean, no offence, 21st century Earth shopping is brilliant, but it's a bit lacking for some of the things I've got in mind.

Well, okay then. I'll do two shopping trips. One here on Earth, and then one off-planet for the other stuff I want to fetch.

How long will you be gone?

Not too long. What's a time machine for, after all? I could leave and be back within half an hour. Less, if I do it brilliantly.

I'll clean the house again.

What d'you need to do that for? It's already so clean I can see my reflection everywhere I look.

It probably got dirty again or I missed a spot.

Somehow I doubt that.
