[Lockon had been drifting amid the debris and wreckage of the battlefield, almost at the point where he couldn't even feel the pain that had dogged him since Dynames exploded. The Earth had what little remained of his focus, and he reached out the arm closest to it. It was so beautiful from space. So peaceful. None of the stupid fights and wars, not from here. This was how the world should be, but it wasn't there, not yet.

Lockon had accepted the fact he was dying, and this wasn't his fight anymore. He'd done what he'd set out to do, and he'd gone out fighting. The larger job was up to the other three, now. They were like him, they wanted to bring the world to this ideal, but the rest of humanity...he began to speak aloud, without even concious thought. [When the fading begins to solidify, realisation dawns - the TARDIS? He has just enough time to think This is a really weird hallucination to die on before he feels the floor of the TARDIS underneath him and the gravity hits - and then the pain that was at the edges of his conciousness doubles and bites back at full force and he can't help but flinch away from the floor - which doesn't help the broken ribs not hurt - and cry out in pain.]
